Contact us

Email support@cardero.me. We reply within 1–2 business days. Please include your iPhone model, the app version (at the bottom of Settings), roughly when the problem happened, and what you saw.

We never ask for passwords, full card numbers or card security codes.

How do I scan a card?

On Home, tap "Scan a card". Point the camera at one card and tap the round shutter button ("Take photo"). To use a picture you already have, tap the photo library button ("Choose from photos"). Tips are in Settings → "How to scan".

What counts toward my free scans?

Cardero is free to use today, with a daily allowance of free scans. Home shows how many are left today. The allowance resets at midnight UTC.

The app shows the wrong card

Where do values come from?

No value? "No value yet" means there is no estimate, for example when our catalog and the reading of your photo disagree. A card saved without an estimate may get one later. Saved estimates are not updated automatically.

Collections

Reinstalling or a new phone

You use Cardero without signing in. Your scans and collections are stored with an anonymous account on our servers. Deleting the app can lose access to them.

Deleting your account

Go to Settings → "Delete account" and confirm. Your account is closed at once, and this app starts fresh with a new account. Photos and scan records are kept without any link to you, and your IP address (stored only in hashed form) is unlinked from them. Backups made before you delete keep the old link until they expire (up to 12 months). The new account may not include free scans. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.

How do I cancel or get a refund?

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel where you bought it:

Privacy

Scan photos are sent to our servers and our AI recognition partners (currently Google Gemini and Ximilar) to identify your cards and estimate their value. They aren't shared with other collectors. Full policy: https://cardero.me/privacy
